Ahhhh the famous Beanie Weenies very low in cost to make. Some kids like them some do not. Personal I did not like beanie weenies as a kids. I had to eat them thou cause I had an Aunt Rosie and if you did not eat your beanie weenies you sat there all day. Of course I at them slowly but surely lol. Today I feed them to my children and I do have to sweeten it some for them to eat it. I myself add just a small amout of cinnamon and honey (you can also use maple syrup). My kids love it this way cause it takes away some of the ewww of the bean taste. Please enjoy the short video on Cheesy Beanie Weenies which I have made and it is delicious if I made add.

By the way eat your beans. Beans have fiber in them which is good for us and helps prevent cancer and even low or cholesterol that some of us have. We need to eat more healtier and beans are a great start to a more healthy everyday diets.

I had beanies and weenies a lot as a kid, I did not really not like them but they got old quick ,as my old man made them all the time, we were poor and guess they were in the budget. I had not had them in many years, but few months back I made some just because I wanted some pork and beans and I gotta have saltines with them so may even fix them again soon, Still poor so works with my budget LOL
my parents were poor as well and it was a great budget dinner and boy did my aunt love to make them. i always had to make sure what she was cooking before i got there lmao.

This made me laugh some, then later, the video made me hungry. Hey, beanie weenies can fill ya up I guess. It also reminded me of the days when someone pulled a quick can of beans and pork, or whatever kind of beans from the cupboard.
