56Ok I do have to say I have been a gamer ever since I was a teenager and I love it. Video games are awesome. Not all games are worth the time to play but there are some well put together games. I can tell you that video games have come a long way. The imagination of video designers are totally awesome.
I have had the pleasure to play all the video game consoles except the playstation 3 so far (that is soon to come). I totally like the xbox 360 live imo.
XBOX 360
The XBOX 360 live is an awesome game console. I really like the interaction with other xbox 360 live members online. Some games you can get online and really enjoy playing with other member. Some of the games even reward you prizes during live shows on tv. My over all favorite is 1 v/s 100. This game has a live television broadcast so the video game goes live at the same time and you can win prizes for xbox live website. I do have to say is a plus and a great feature to have.
According to Gamer Segmentation 2009, the most recent report from leading market research company, The NDP Group, females gamers are at an all time high since 2008. Who says the ladies can't have fun to lol. It seems that the gaming is rubbing off. Children are getting more into games as well from what I have seen. Since August 2009 170 million Americans play video games. So what is causing this all time high of gamers? Are people addicted to video games? Should we be concerned? Is our future of America going to decline in areas that are more important than video games? Some would say yes to all but others have a different opinion.
The Sims
I can tell you in my own experience in playing the Sims games. I totally enjoy it. I have also let my children play the sims and it is a great learning experience for them in my opinion. The Sims gives you a chance to build a character and help to reach goals of different kinds. 6.3 million copies of the sims has been sold since they first came out in 2002. For all you gamers and lovers of the Sims, Sims 3 is out. This is one of the best so far. Awesome new features and even aliens.

I have to avoid video games right now because I am so addictive to them. My husband and played for hours, especially the fantasy role playing games. I broke my wrist badly a few years ago, and can't play the console games much anymore, and now do mostly computer games. Would love to have time right now for a good game, though.
