The Four ArchAngels
75Archangels
There are four of the many archangels of God. Uriel, Gabriel, Raphael, and Michael. Like us each angel has it's own meaning, purpose, and duty to the Lord. Please remember that there are more angels to study and learn about. Educating yourself is important reguardless who you are. We all need to know the truth and take it for what it is.
Uriel
Uriel is the fire of God. Ur meaning fire. In the Old testament Uriel is mentioned in the book of Ezra. He is known as the angel that stands at the gate of the Garden of Eden with a firey sword. Being often identified as a cherub and the angel of repentence. He also watches over thunder and terror. Uriel is also mention in the book of Enoch. Uriel is one of the watchers of mankind. He is one of the four that will testify to God about mankind. Uriel is also the angle who notified Noah of the Great Flood to come.
Gabriel
Gabriel means the strength of God. The strength to face and overcome one's fears. Gabriel is mentioned in the Book of Daniel in the old testament. In many different religions around the world Gabriel plays an important role. Christains believe that Gabriel is the angel that fortold the birth of John the Baptist and Jesus. In Islam Gabriel is the angel that brought them the Qur'an to their prophet Muhammad. Gabriel is one of the Archangels that hears the cries of humanity during the strain of the Nephilim. Gabriel also is the archangel that holds the horn that will sound in the end days.
Raphael is the physical and emotional healing of God. According to the book of Enoch Raphael is the angle that bound Azazel under the desert Dudael.
Enoch 10: 5-7
"And again the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire."
In hebrew the root for Raphael is Rophe meaning doctor of medicine. For example we hear the saying Jehovah Rophe.
Michael
Michael name meaning "one who is like God (El) is wisdom and love of God. He is the leader of God's army. He is mentioned by name in many different books of the bible. He is most popular of all the archangels. In the book of Joshua it is said that Joshua saw Michael. He is the angel that helped lead Joshua to his victory. Enoch mentions Michael a lot in the book of Enoch. Telling us that Michael is full of love and mercy. Michael also heard the cries of man duing the time of the Nephilim. In prophecy Michael will be the one to fight and be the angel to slain the antichrist.

Wow wow wow Anna, Love this!!! The coolest topic ever, woohoo. I truly love learning about this kind of stuff, definitely learned some things I didn't know before. Excellent idea, and excellent hub layout with the pictures on the side and at the end. I love it :)
One more thing...Now I have a new place to add to my "bucket list" lol, the Mont St. Michael in Normandy, France. Wow, is that a spectacular structure or what?
Great topic thanks for sharing.
Love it
Love this topic! A bit more facts about Michael... He was the angel who fought satan & threw him out of heaven... He fought satan over Moses' bones.. He also fought satan over Daniel's prayer because satan held them in the atmosphere ... And yes he will be the one to fight satan at the battle of Armageddon~ Be blessed ppl of God!
