I have lived in Indianapolis, Indiana ever since I was 9 years old. I moved to the city in the year of 1983 after the death of my great grandmother Vesta Jane Peacock (R.I.P). I grew up in a small part of the city called Fountain Square.  Of course the photo to the right is not what the fountain looks like today.  They have tore down that fountain and replaced it with a different one.  I will take a photo and upload it here when I get the opportunity.

There was nothing here but the deleware Indians before two gentlemen by the names Calvin Fletcher and Nicholas McCarty.  Who purchased a 264-acre in 1835.  Today the capital of Indiana which is Indianapolis (a.k.a. Naptown) has grown like crazy.

As you watch the short video of Indianapolis, Indiana please take note that the RCA dome is no longer a part of downtown Indy. We have a new stadium called Lucas Oil Stadium. The RCA dome (know as the Hoosier Dome at one time) was tore down to make a new home for the Indianapolis Colts, hoping to host the Superbowl. Which in the year 2012 Indianapolis, Indian and Lucas Oil Stadium is proud to annouce they are going to host the Superbowl. Business wil boom in this city at this time at least that is what they are hoping for since it cost 720 million to construct.

As you watch further in the video to the right you will see the Indianapolis Speedway. This host the Indy 500 and the Brickyard 400. Personally I have not had the opportunity to see the inside of this establishment, but I hear it is awesome.
